MELANGE SPUN POLY FABRIC FOR ATHLEISURE

Nowadays, sportswear is not only for sport and leisure wear is not only for casual. We have a word and call “Athleisure”. It’s a combination of athletic and leisure. Athleisure has become a fashion trend that includes apparel designed for workouts and other athletic activities, but are not limited to being worn at the gym or while exercising. You can sport athleisure wear at casual social events and even at the workplace.  

However, our usual impression to sportswear is made by polyester or nylon fabrics, and leisure wear is made by cotton or the other natural fiber fabrics. Of course, we can make the sportswear look likes leisure wear through different designs or prints, but the feel of wearing is still different. Cotton is much softness, but polyester is like “plastic”. Therefore, we use spun poly to develop this fabric. Spun poly is still 100% polyester, but it feels like cotton, folds like cotton and even absorb like cotton.  

Besides, there are the other features of spun poly fabrics.

• It feels like cotton, but it doesn't wrinkle like cotton. 
• Laundering spun poly is as easy as traditional polyester. 
• The shrinkage of spun poly is better than cotton. 
• Spun poly has better colorfastness of washing if comparing with cotton. 
• It can be printed by sublimation and rotary.
